Life pushes me to new ways,

I've felt the pain, but hope it stays,

Memories of hurt and betrayal,

But still, I long for a new tale.

Friends used to use me in a selfish way,

But deep inside, I long to say,

That I deserve to be treated fair,

And to find someone who truly cares.

In my darkest times, I search for light,

Someone to guide me through the night,
